How to Register with Air Force Gaming (AFG)

Steps to Register for Adult (Ages 18+)
  1. Go to the Air Force Gaming Website
  2. Enter your email address and create a password to register
  3. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Username to create your account
  4.  A verification email will be sent to your email. Click on the verification link to confirm
  5. Select a community to be a part of (Service Members or Civilians & Others)
    1. You will then be asked to answer additional eligibility questions
  6. Additional verification will be asked to verify military status
    1. Provide your .mil email address to verify OR
    2. Use ID.me (Military) - This option may require certain documents to be uploaded (DD214, SF50, etc.)
  7. Once the account is verified, log in to the Air Force Gaming Website
    1. Click on your Username
    2. Click "Settings"
    3. Click the "Connect Discord Account" button to link discord

Steps to Register for Minor (Ages 13 - 17)

The minor's account will live under the Sponsor's primary account. Please ensure the Sponsor has registered for an account beforehand.

  1. Log in to the Air Force Gaming Website
  2. Click on your Username
  3. Click on "Switch Profile"
  4. Click "Add Dependent"
  5. Enter the minor's information: First Name, Last Name, Username
  6. Minor's profile will now be listed as an option to select

  • DoD Civilians assigned to Okinawa, Japan Military Installations

Virtual Qualifiers

29 June

Format:

  • Played in a team format (4v4 with CDL Rules)
  • Participant entries must consist of units/squadrons only
    • All participants must be within the same squadron/unit
    • 1 team per unit
    • 4 players minimum per unit
      • 4 participants allowed on active roster with 1 substitute per team
  • Matches will be played as Best of 5
  • Top 6 Teams move on to the in-person finals

Fee:

  • Tournament Participation is $30.00 Per Unit/Team

Additional Info:

  • Register In-Person at the Schilling Front Desk
  • Gameplay will be on participant's PC/console. Participants must play on controller regardless of device used to operate the game. 
  • This will be a streamed event, please be aware that you may be live-streamed on our twitch account

Summer Showdown Grand Finale

Wednesday, 3 June | 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Format:

  • Played in a team format (4v4 with CDL Rules)
  • Matches will be Best of 5, with the Finals being Best of 7

Location:

  • Risner Volleyball Courts
  • Award Ceremony • 7:00 pm
    • Winners will be announced on stage at the Freedom Festival & Fireworks Event

Time Schedule:

  • 8:30 am - 9:30 am: Doors Open / Player Check-In / Warm-Ups
  • 10:00 am: First Matches Start
  • 4:30 pm: Grand Finals Match
  • 7:00 pm: Award Ceremony

Additional Info:

  • Gameplay will be on participant's PC/console. Participants must play on controller regardless of device used to operate the game.
