Just days after 9/11, elite Green Berets, called “Horse Soldiers,” were deployed to Afghanistan, some on horseback. Their exploits inspired the film 12 Strong, the CNN documentary Legion of Brothers, and are memorialized by America’s Response Monument at Ground Zero.

 “Legendary Men… Legendary Spirits…” reflects they passion in everything we do. In 2015, their journey to Yellowstone led to their first distillery tour, igniting a passion for distilling that has taken them worldwide. They’ve trained with top distillers in Kentucky, Ireland, and Scotland, using those lessons to enhance their distilling process and ingredient selection. This blend of art and science are what sets them apart.

 After studying at some of the oldest distilleries, they founded American Freedom Distillery, where their commitment to excellence thrives. Horse Soldier Bourbon Whiskey is handcrafted from all-natural ingredients, bottled in America’s heartland, and aged to perfection.

This bourbon has won top honors at world spirits competitions, including triple double gold at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition—an achievement their team is proud of.
